Temple Isaiah To Host Interfaith Call to Justice: LA 2007
Conference brings together faith congregations and organizations  to address society’s ills through legislation and public policy

The Interfaith Call to Justice: LA 07 is an interfaith social justice training and community strategy planning conference, set for Nov.11-12. Temple Isaiah, located within the Tract 7260 area,  serves as the host.

Members of religious and community-based organizations from throughout Los Angeles will gather to find out together how best to address injustice in their communities.

The conference will focus on:

  • Advocacy training

  • The development of relationships between people of different faiths and socio-economic circumstances

  • The pairing of participants with existing advocacy campaigns

  • Advocacy collaboration in Los Angeles.

About 200 attendees are expected each day, so 7260 residents in the area should be prepared for an influx of visitors.
